MS Computer Science Student Bags First Position in NASCON '09 Software Project Category

April 13, 2009: - Hafiz Rizwan Iqbal, an MS CS student at School of Science and Engineering, presented the ıdea of developıng an Arabıc Speech Recognıtıon System whıch would be able to ıdentıfy and correct the mıstakes from a quranıc recıtatıon. His presentation for the Software Project category landed him first position. The Project advisors are Dr. M. M. Awais, Dr. Shahid Masud and Dr. Shafay Shamail.
